Ever since watching the low budget film Gummo, which has a character who goes around in a headpiece with pink bunny ears, I've wanted to do something with that image. Earlier this month, I was reading a book about legends and strange happenings in America. One of the stories was about a man who went around in rabbit skins murdering people. I knew instantly that I had my way to use the imagery of a pink and white bunny.
After a few weeks of working on the outline and what we wanted the story to be, I began the first draft of The Bunnyman today.
